Os outros já dormem. O silêncio embala-lhes o sono e, a mim, agudiza-me o desespero… Já há muito tempo que não me sentia tão triste e há ainda mais tempo que não me sentia tão frágil… Hoje custa-me respirar a quietude da casa e não consigo deixar de pensar no barulho dos carros lá fora...
Os acontecimentos têm-me sugado toda a força do espírito, de tal modo que, no intervalo de inacção, só me sobra o vazio da alma e a consciência de que o rumo que sigo não é mais do que um labirinto perverso, no qual teimo em me perder… Há agora pontos do percurso que reconheço, embora tenham outros contornos para me enganar, sei que me são familiarmente bizarros.
Há muita coisa que me faz falta… Há um bem-estar que brinca comigo às escondidas. Há uma alegria permanente que foge das horas tristes dos meus dias.
